Solar domestic hot water system 6,000 MJ/year requirement
Homeowners who complete a pre-retrofit energy evaluation on or after October 1, 2009 incentives will be awarded only for systems identified in the "Performance Directory of Solar Domestic Hot Water Systems", Table 1 or 2 - http://canmetenergy-canmetenergie.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/eng/renewables/solar_thermal/sdhw_directory.html, AND these systems must have a minimum energy rating of 6 GJ/year per system. For example, this would mean that SDHW systems that are rated at 4 GJ/year would not be eligible for a grant, even if two systems were to be installed.
